I grew up in New York City. My education started at a small, private, all-boys Catholic school named Saint David’s. For high school, I applied and was accepted to Stuyvesant via New York City’s SHSAT.
Stuyvesant gave me an excellent education in mathematics. I was accepted into their honors program where I was taught by inspiring teachers that expanded my existing love for math.
During my sophomore year, I hired a math tutor. Their individual attention and ability to spend a full hour answering my specific questions helped me learn the more difficult course material. With their help, I entered MIT with a solid foundation in mathematics.
I’m now happy to be passing on what I’ve learned in my math journey.
